Maryam Musa - CEO
Introducing our CEO, Maryam Musa. Born in Sudan and moving to the United States at just 7 years old, Maryam faced the challenge of adapting to a completely new language and culture. Determined to grow beyond her circumstances, she dedicated herself to learning English through ESL programs and speech therapy, eventually turning what was once her biggest obstacle into one of her greatest strengths. Driven by a passion for business, leadership, and technology, Maryam went on to attend The Ohio State University, where she studied Health Science and Business Administration. After college, she expanded her professional experience by working as a tech coordinator in Washington. Although successful in the corporate world, she knew she wanted something greater than a traditional career path — she wanted to build something impactful. That ambition led her to pursue the Management Training Program, where her work ethic, leadership, and vision quickly set her apart. In under six months, Maryam earned a managerial position and continued building momentum through her ability to lead, develop people, and create lasting results. Today, Maryam proudly serves as the CEO of Phoenix Marketing, working alongside Fortune 500 clients while leading with purpose, resilience, and vision. Her mission goes far beyond business success — she is passionate about creating opportunities for others, helping people grow their confidence, communication, and leadership skills, and showing individuals that their background does not determine their future. Maryam’s story is a testament to perseverance, self-development, and the power of believing in something bigger than yourself.
Isis - Account Manager
Isis is one of the top Account Managers at Phoenix Marketing Group. Born in Miami and raised near Atlanta, she brings a strong work ethic, compassion, and drive into everything she does. Before joining Phoenix, Isis spent several years working with animals, specifically dogs, in the veterinary field. While she loved the work itself, she realized there was limited opportunity for personal and financial growth. She saw firsthand how many people in that industry spent years in school and decades with a company before seeing a meaningful return on their investment. Wanting more for herself and her future, she began searching for an opportunity that offered faster growth, leadership development, and the ability to truly build something of her own. What immediately stood out to her about Phoenix was the opportunity and culture surrounding growth. By just her second week in the business, Isis earned the chance to travel on a networking trip to Denver, where she connected with entrepreneurs and experienced firsthand what it looked like to help launch and grow a brand-new office. During that same trip, she earned her promotion to Account Manager — a moment that solidified her belief in both herself and the opportunity in front of her. Today, Isis is focused on growing her team, developing future leaders, and helping others receive the same opportunities that changed her life. Her long-term goal is to retire her mother, create generational wealth for her family, and build a future that gives those around her more freedom, stability, and opportunity.
Joshua Petrenko - Account Manager
My name is Joshua Petrenko, and I’m currently one of the top Account Managers at Phoenix. Outside of work, I’m passionate about volleyball, playing guitar, and staying connected to my Ukrainian roots. Before joining Phoenix, I worked in construction alongside my father for a company he built from the ground up. The work demanded long hours and a lot physically, but it taught me discipline, work ethic, and the value of sacrifice. Through that experience, I realized one of my biggest strengths was working with people and being able to communicate and connect with others naturally. That realization led me to Phoenix, where I was brought onto the team and quickly grew into an Account Manager role through consistency, leadership, and a strong drive to improve every day. Since being here, I’ve continued developing my skills in communication, leadership, and mentorship while helping those around me grow as well. One of my long-term goals is to open and operate my own office in Sacramento and build a strong culture that creates opportunities for others to succeed, just like Phoenix did for me.
Nathan - Account Manager
My name is Nathan and I’m one of the top Account Managers here at Phoenix. I was born in Washington and spent part of my life between there and California, which helped shape my adaptability and mindset early on. Since joining Phoenix, I’ve had the opportunity to travel on multiple networking trips to places like Salt Lake City and Denver, experiences that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. Throughout my time here, I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills while learning how to work with and lead different types of people. Phoenix has pushed me to grow into someone who not only wants success for himself, but also wants to bring others up along the way. My long-term goal is to open and run my own market in Phoenix while continuing to support my family and build opportunities for the people around me. More than anything, I want to help everyone on my team become better than they were when they first joined and push them toward reaching their own goals and full potential.
Brandon Jimenez - Account Manager
Introducing Account Manager Brandon Jimenez. Originally from Dallas, Brandon later attended University of Washington in Seattle, where he earned his degree in Sociology along with double minors in Law, Society & Justice and Diversity. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and going on runs in his free time. Before joining Phoenix, Brandon was on the path toward law school. He had already taken the LSAT and begun the application process when he came across the opportunity to join Phoenix — a decision that ultimately changed the trajectory of his career. What started as a new opportunity quickly became a platform for growth, leadership, and personal development. Since joining the company, Brandon has developed into one of Phoenix’s top Account Managers, consistently pushing himself to grow both professionally and personally. Through his experience here, he has strengthened his mindset, sharpened his communication skills, improved his ability to navigate challenges, and grown into a stronger leader for both his team and those around him. Brandon continues to lead by example through his work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to constant growth, proving that success comes from being willing to step outside of your comfort zone and bet on yourself.
